2. Reduced risk of heart disease and certain cancers: The risk of getting a heart attack, heart disease and even certain cancers are reduced.

3. Better weight management and metabolic health: Plant-based diets often lead to weight loss and help the body with better metabolism.

4. Longer, healthier life: Research studies show that the longest-living people are found in regions where the diets are mainly plant-based

5.Healthier Lives: Research data also show that people who mainly follow plant-based diets exhibit lower inflammatory body situations and reduced oxidative stress.

BUT do plant based diets provide adequate proteins for the human body?

Research shows that plants protein foods like lentils, tofu, chick peas, peanuts, quinoa, cauliflower, alfalfa sprouts, black eyed peas etc. as well as leafy vegetables like cassava leaves, cocoyam leaves, kale, amaranth, collard greens among many others, provide adequate human protein needs when varied in the human diet.
